Eine politische Serie? Ist das was für mich? Ich würde mich zwar nicht als Politikmuffel beschreiben, aber dass ich die letzten gefühlten 20 Abstimmungen verpasst habe, spricht auch nicht für meine Begeisterung für das, was die in Bern so machen. Oder auf der Welt, for that matter. Dass ich mir aber trotzdem The Newsroom von Aaron Sorkin zugelegt habe, liegt vorallem daran, dass mich der Trailer zur ersten Staffel damals so mitriss, dass ich der Serie einfach eine Chance geben musste. Meine Bedenken erwiesen sich zum Glück als unbegründet – die Nachrichtensendungsproduktionsserie aus dem Hause HBO ist alles andere als eine trockene Politiklektion. Vielmehr handelt es sich dabei um eine der packendsten Serien, die ich je gesehen habe und mit Sicherheit die beste, die ich von HBO gesehen habe.
